[At this very moment, many normal occurrences were happening in the grounds of Camp Eff You Die: the violent, violet primates - unconcerned that the season and opportunity had passed - were attempting to dance in a production of "The Nutcracker". The toucans provided a raucous interpretation of Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Flowers" in the background and Marcy the Tentacle Monster waved a conductor's baton grandly and importantly from her spot within the lake.

Completely unaware of all these perfectly normal occurrences, Lonely Tourist Charlotte Charles began attempt number eight for finding the perfect complimentary fruit to her blue-cheese pie crust in the Mess Hall kitchens. Makino Tsukushi was likewise occupied with her studies in the F4 Lounge library, blissfully unaware that twenty-three gorillas in tutus were clumsily crashing into each other during their ill-fated attempts at the grand jeté. Meanwhile, Noda Megumi - fondly known to all as "Nodame" - was on her forty-third attempt at reconnecting with Mozart while playing his Piano Sonata No 11 in A major K 331 Third movement - Rondo Alla Turca.

And, at this very moment, another very normal occurrence for the campgrounds of CFUD happened; in the blink of an eye, Charlotte Charles, Makino Tsukushi, and Noda Megumi were suddenly nowhere to be found. Instead, perched primly in their respective places with nothing but a note declaring "WATER ME", were the following: a potted daisy, a potted weed (of the non-Cannabis variety), and a potted specimen of the Western Skunk Cabbage.]

[OOC: Which is a very long-winded way of saying: going on hiatus! If anyone needs to react to Nodame, Makino, or Chuck's disappearances, have at it! Cheers!]

Just a note that I'm putting Nodame, Makino, and Chuck on hiatus for a week-ish due to Aki Con and that scanlation project thing I'm still clinging to! Although if you need any of them in the next day or so I can probably swing it.

NOT THAT I'VE BEEN VERY ACTIVE ANYWAY, but going to be MIA for a bit since I'm busy running errands the next few days and then am off to a dog-sitting gig at a house with super-slow internet only available in a tiny, cramped room. I'm going to pick snuggling the Basset Hound/Labrador cross over my internet life and take it easy for a couple of days :3

So even though "Pushing Daisies" was snubbed in almost all the acting categories (GO KRISTEN CHENOWETH, GO! WIN THAT SUPPORTING ACTRESS TROPHY!) and missed out on the other major nominations it had garnered in its previous year, the show did manage to snag three Emmys for Art Direction, Makeup, and Costuming this year! So that just goes to prove how really, ridiculously good-looking our show was ♥

I was still on hiatus when the Extrovert/Introvert post went up and de-hiatused a couple of days after, so my plan was to jump Chuck and Nodame's respective introverts wherever I found them in posts.

And then Battlestar Galactica Season 4 tried to consume me whole orz

So this is just a note to the introverts that I will be trying to stalk you, if you don't mind! And if there's a post you've got your characters out in, please feel free to give me a kick in the pants on IRC or leave a link here and I will come pester your characters ♥

Also, things are starting to get a little hectic again and my laptop is suffering all sorts of glitches thanks to malware, so putting my three on a semi-hiatus until things calm down a smidge!

[Twelve hours, thirteen minutes, and forty-four seconds before the sudden insurgence of super-powered zombies in the campgrounds of Camp Eff You Die, Charlotte Charles was standing outside the residence of General Cornelia li Brittania preparing a long explanatory spiel as to why she was standing outside her residence as well as an equally long explanatory appeal as to why she would liked to be invited inside. But as she knocked on the door exactly three times, the words became muddled in her head and she hoped that, in the end, no explanation would be necessary.]

Still on hiatus, but I just wanted to share this with anyone else who might be chomping at the bit for the last three episodes of Pushing Daisies and news on the series' future.

1) ABC will be airing the first of the last three episodes starting on May 30.

2) The last three episodes are available on YouTube with an English soundtrack and Turkish subs. Quality is so-so, but I am incredibly impatient.

3) It has been officially confirmed that Pushing Daisies will get a 12-issue miniseries at DC Comics.

I was going to do a spoiler-y collective thoughts thing, but I'm going to hold off until I've had more time to absorb all of this.

Suffice it to say, I am going to miss this show so much ;o;

The WB has announced that the release date for Pushing Daisies Season 2 DVDs is July 21st, apparently regardless of whether or not ABC decides to air the remaining episodes! YAY!

For those who can speak German and can't wait, well LUCKY YOU.

And for those of us who can't, well ITV in the UK is showing "The Norwegians" this Friday! And from everything I've read, they've got the rights to show all thirteen episodes which would mean we'd get new episodes starting next week if some kind soul decides to upload it somewhere. Fingers crossed!

Yes, I'm a little obsessed. Shush.
